Three kinds of engine
AI-powered tools (paraphrasing, grammar, summarizing, translation and most content tools) send your text to our server for transient processing; the result comes back and the text is discarded. Browser tools (spell checker, dictionary, word and character counters, readability checker, case converter, text compare, citation generator and the text utilities) run on your device, so the text never reaches our server; the dictionary only looks the word up on Wiktionary for its definition. The plagiarism checker sends a few short phrases to open sources and lists every source it searched.
English first, every language welcome
Tools start in English on this site. Switch the text language in the editor to work in another language: the AI tools are instructed to follow that language's own spelling rules, and each language edition of AdeptWrite adds its own spell checker where an open dictionary for that language exists.
Every core tool is free and needs no account. We do not show user counts or testimonials because we have no verified data yet; what we promise is tools that work exactly as described.
